Listening: Sing Like Never Before Album by Matt Redman
Matt Redman has put together a great album to listen and even sing-along to. There's several songs that are hymn-like and for the collective of people singing anthemically. Meaning, historical hymns tend to be rich with biblical truths and realities. There are also songs that reflect or mirror the inability sometimes to express in a breath of words and retain simplicity to repetition and summary like in Revelation 4:8, " ... The first three songs of Matt Rodman's album, Sing Like Never Before, are tremendous and reflect these truths: 1) 10,000 Reasons (Psalms; Bless the Lord); 2) Our God; and 3) Better is One Day. Regardless, let the cause of our song not be a song but the God who created us to sing
