On Thursday, 8/16/2018 6-8pm at Nate's place, we are watching and discussing the 'Bookamentary' film series, Notes from the Tilt-a-Whirl, by N.D. Wilson.
The film follows the chapter outline of Wilson's book in film and discussion form. Each video chapter showcases 2-5 minute explanation and insights by Wilson, allowing groups to pause and discuss each section and topic addressed. Wilson shares a wide array of topics from personal experiences like that of witnessing his young nephew pass away while dealing with the difficulties to scientific and philosophical beliefs beyond and within Christianity.
The book and film series, Notes from the Tilt-a-Whirl, provides a unique way to think and be challenged about real life and death, beliefs, God, the Bible, evil and good, Christianity, science, and so on.
This is our 2nd time providing a night to watch and discuss this file series. Great for most ages and people with a hunger to learn and be challenged to think, believe, and live differently.
